Cotton Single Jersey is a lightweight, breathable knit prized for its soft hand, natural stretch and reliable drape. Our Single Jersey is 100% pure cotton, combed and compacted from 24s-count ring-spun yarn, finished to a specification of 180–190 GSM depending on colour and dye lot. The tubular construction and fine stitch density deliver a smooth face and stable structure that suit basic T-shirts, polos, tanks and refined loungewear where a clean appearance and comfortable next-to-skin feel are essential.
The tubular knit produces a smooth face and a soft reverse with natural stretch and recovery, delivering a clean appearance with a comfortable next-to-skin hand. It is ideal for round-neck T-shirts, polos, sleeveless and tank tops, body-hugging tees, slim-fit styles as well as relaxed or oversize silhouettes — essentially anywhere a lightweight, breathable fabric with good drape and dimensional stability is required. For the Indian climate, Single Jersey offers natural cooling and moisture absorption, making it a preferred choice for garments that need to feel light, ventilated and durable across humid conditions.
From yarn selection through knitting and finishing, quality is engineered into every roll. We source high-grade cotton yarns from trusted mills, run combing and compacting to raise fibre alignment and reduce pilling, and use controlled tubular dyeing to ensure even penetration. Each roll is bio-washed and compacted on modern machinery to simulate first-wash behaviour, producing pre-shrunk fabric with consistent hand and minimal variation between sample and bulk. Every production lot is laboratory-verified for GSM accuracy, tensile strength, dimensional stability, pilling resistance and color fastness (wash, rub and light).
Minimum order and construction details — 20 kg roll per colour, 37" tubular width — and options such as other GSMs, silicon finishes on orders from 400 kg, and matching 1/1 cotton-lycra ribs demonstrate our sourcing flexibility for production planning and export requirements. Cotton Single Jersey is low maintenance. Machine wash in cold to warm water (30–40°C) with a mild, pH-neutral detergent and avoid chlorine bleach or aggressive chemicals. Turn garments inside out to protect prints and reduce surface abrasion. Tumble dry on low or air dry in shade; the pre-shrunk finish minimises variability but excessive heat can still cause slight shrinkage. Iron on a low setting if necessary using the reverse side over prints. Routine dry cleaning is not required for normal use.
