Heavy Cotton Enriched Fleece is a made-to-order, ultra-dense variant of our signature Cotton Enriched line, engineered for brands that demand substance, structure, and unmistakable warmth. Built on a three-thread composite construction and finished to an impressive 400 GSM, it combines a pure 24s cotton face, a polyester binder core, and a Sans Carbon recycled cotton-poly back fleece for exceptional balance between softness, insulation, and long-term durability.
The top layer is 100% cotton, bio-washed, silicone-softened, and finished with an additional softener treatment for a smooth, premium hand. The middle layer uses polyester as the structural binder, stabilising the fabric and ensuring stretch resistance and dimensional control. The inner fleecy layer is made from 60% recycled cotton and 40% recycled PET-based fibre, raised to a dense, plush nap for superior insulation and tactile warmth. The end result is a heavyweight fleece that feels luxurious yet performs with industrial consistency — ideal for premium hoodies, sweatshirts, joggers, and outer-layer garments meant for colder climates.
This heavy composite fleece follows the same precision process as our standard Cotton Enriched Fleece, scaled up for higher GSM and compact density. The top face is knitted separately with fine-count cotton yarns for colour vibrancy and smoothness. Controlled bio-wash and silicone finishing remove surface impurities and enhance hand feel, while mechanical raising and heat setting fix the fabric’s structure and colour depth. The stenter process ensures proper width setting, and the compacting stage locks in the final GSM for bulk consistency.
Every production lot undergoes strict lab verification for GSM accuracy, colour fastness, tensile strength, shrinkage, and pilling resistance. The three-thread layering with a polyester binder maintains dimensional stability even in this heavier weight. Like all our premium fleece fabrics, it is offered with complete transparency — lab reports and certificates are available on request. As a made-to-order fabric, it is produced against confirmed purchase orders, typically requiring minimums of 400 kg per colour and a lead time of 20–30 days for knitting, finishing, and quality testing.
Machine wash gently at 30–40 °C with a mild, pH-neutral detergent. Avoid bleach and strong oxidising agents. Tumble dry low or air dry flat in shade; excessive heat can alter pile height and compact the fleece. Iron on low if required, pressing from the face side with a cloth barrier. Avoid steam directly on the raised nap. Store folded in a cool, dry space away from sunlight to maintain colour and pile integrity.
