Legacy Cotton Fleece is our classic two-thread fleece crafted from 100% pure cotton, built for softness, warmth, and lasting comfort. Knitted from 20s count cotton yarn and finished to a GSM of 290–310 (marketed at 300 GSM), this fabric achieves the perfect middle ground — thick enough for mild winters yet breathable enough for transitional wear. It comes in open width, 40–42 inches, designed for seamless cutting and efficient production layouts.
The face of the fabric is smooth and tightly knit, while the reverse is softly raised to form a plush texture that feels naturally warm against the skin. Being a pure cotton fleece, it delivers the comfort and breathability that synthetic blends can’t match, while offering moderate insulation for sweatshirts, hoodies, joggers, and winter loungewear.
Legacy Cotton Fleece is bio-washed, enzyme-treated, and raised under controlled conditions to achieve a premium hand feel and consistent surface texture. The enzyme and bio-wash steps remove loose fibres and enhance smoothness, while controlled raising brings out a soft, velvety pile without compromising structure. We use high-quality 20s yarn to ensure balanced weight, tensile strength, and a stable fleece body that resists pilling and distortion after wash.
Each batch undergoes lab testing for GSM accuracy, shrinkage control, colour fastness, and dimensional stability. The result is a pure cotton fleece that stays true to its colour and texture even after multiple washes. With its all-natural composition and refined finish, Legacy Cotton Fleece stands out as a dependable choice for premium sweatshirts, hoodies, joggers and layering pieces made for everyday comfort.
Machine wash cold or at 30 °C with a mild, pH-neutral detergent. Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals that may weaken the cotton fibres. Tumble dry on low or air dry in shade to preserve the raised texture and prevent shrinkage. Iron on a low setting if necessary, preferably from the reverse side. No routine dry cleaning is required under normal use.
