Premium 95% Cotton – 5% Lycra Single Jersey, 200–210 GSM stretch knit with 30s fine cotton yarn. Soft, breathable, durable and bio-washed for lasting comfort.
95% Cotton - 5% Elastane
Our Cotton-Lycra Single Jersey is a premium stretch knit built for comfort, performance and refined aesthetics. We knit it from 30s count cotton yarn blended with 5% elastane (Lycra), finishing it to 200–210 GSM. This higher yarn count means the fabric is finer, smoother, and delivers excellent drape while maintaining substantive weight. The elastane gives it stretch and recovery, so garments keep their shape without loosening over time.
This fabric boasts a soft, lightly lustrous face combined with the classic looped reverse, balanced for both everyday wear and elevated styles. It’s ideal for round-neck tees, slim-fit tops, tanks, comfortable garments that need a little give — but also stylish shirts and basics where precision cut and drape matter. The careful blend gives you breathability and moisture handling from cotton, with the resilience and form retention that elastane brings.
We use high-grade 30s cotton yarns to achieve a finer hand and a smooth surface. The tight knit structure paired with elastane yields a controlled curl, moderate stretch and clean recovery. Our dyeing and finishing processes include bio-wash steps that soften the fabric and simulate early washes, ensuring better hand feel and reduced shrinkage in sewn garments. Each lot is tested for GSM accuracy, stretch and recovery, colorfastness (wash, rub, light) and dimensional stability.
We enforce strict tolerances on shade consistency, bulk-to-sample matching, stitch density and elastane dispersion, because inconsistent stretch or dye can ruin a run. Custom shades, matching rib/trim, alternate GSMs and special finishes are available on request — we manage lead times and minimums transparently so you can plan your production.
Machine wash cold or lukewarm (30–40 °C) using a mild, pH-neutral detergent. Avoid bleach, optical brighteners and fabric softeners — they interfere with elastane and reduce stretch. Turn garments inside out to protect the surface. Tumble dry low or preferably air dry in shade to preserve elasticity and reduce stress. Iron on low heat if necessary, using a cloth barrier and avoiding direct contact with prints. Do not steam the elastane parts aggressively. Store flat or folded, not hung in harsh sunlight, to avoid stretching over long periods.
