Our Lysosel Single Jersey — also known as TSJ or Tensil Roma — is a premium rayon-based knit designed for softness, sheen and fluid drape. Made from 60% rayon (Lysosel) blended with 40% nylon and Lycra, it’s knitted in a Siro Compact structure that produces an ultra-smooth face and refined stretch recovery. Finished to 200–210 GSM in open width (60"), the fabric offers a fine balance of elasticity, breathability and luster, with a hand feel that rivals luxury micro-modal textiles.
This material’s semi-lustrous surface, soft fall and naturally cool touch make it ideal for Cuban collar shirts, tees, tanks, and performance wear where comfort meets visual refinement. Its knit structure ensures excellent drape and shape retention, while the nylon-Lycra component reinforces durability without compromising the signature modal softness. The result is a fluid, resilient fabric that flatters every silhouette — from fitted tops to relaxed overshirts and lightweight bottoms.
We import our Lysosel Single Jersey exclusively from specialized mills in China with decades of R&D in advanced modal blends. Each lot uses Siro Compact spinning — a dual-roving technique that yields cleaner yarns, lower hairiness and higher strength — giving the fabric a polished surface and exceptional uniformity.
Every batch undergoes laboratory testing for GSM accuracy, stretch recovery, color fastness, dimensional stability, and pilling resistance. Controlled dyeing and ultra-soft brushing ensure colour consistency and a premium hand feel. Each roll is heat-set and compacted to stabilise the fabric and simulate its first-wash behaviour, ensuring minimal shrinkage and no torque during garment production.
Machine wash on a gentle cycle using cold or lukewarm water (30–40 °C) and mild detergent. Avoid bleach or softeners that can reduce sheen and elasticity. Tumble dry on low or air dry flat in shade to preserve drape and fibre strength. If ironing is required, use a low temperature and place a cloth barrier between iron and fabric. Avoid steam on the surface to maintain the smooth finish. Store garments in a cool, dry space away from direct sunlight to preserve their lustre and longevity.
