Grading mirrors our Regular T-shirt block so end users typically wear the same labeled size in both when using standard high GSM fleece or terry. For lighter fabrics under approximately 250 GSM, communicate to end-users to consider sizing down one step to maintain intended drape and ease. The pattern incorporates 2x2 cotton-lycra rib at the neckline, cuff, and bottom hem to stabilize edges, support warmth retention, and hold shape through wear.

Construction targets a clean, non-creased look at rib joins using a single stitch at the hemline. CAD-based pattern development with manual cutting is applied to preserve grading accuracy for this block while allowing precise rib mapping and neck opening control; rib cutting and roll machines aid consistent neckline shape and cuff circumference. Sewing is configured for heavier knits, with high-GSM handling supported on our lines, including ball track-capable setups for layered seams. Standard sweatshirt seam construction employs secure overlock for assembly with a clean single-stitch finish at rib attachments as specified for this block. Size chart adjustments can be executed program-wise while maintaining the base proportions to keep grading logic consistent across the range.
