At Plakads, delivery is not an afterthought. It is a structured part of how we work with brands across India and internationally. We hold active accounts with most of India's major courier and logistics companies, which allows us to pass on volumetrically negotiated rates that most individual brands cannot access independently. However, customers always have the option to book their own pickup from our locations. Whether you are moving a sample parcel or a full bulk consignment, we have a delivery mode suited to the scale, timeline, and destination of your order.

We ship across India through multiple channels depending on order size, urgency, and destination. All rates listed are per KG and are subject to 5% GST. Final charges must be confirmed with our sales team before dispatch, as remote area surcharges and volumetric weight calculations may apply.
This is the standard delivery mode for most bulk orders and the most cost-effective option for shipments moving across India's major corridors. Parcels are dispatched through our partner surface courier and logistics networks, with delivery typically taking 5 - 10 business days.
For parcels up to 20 kg, the rate is Rs. 55 per kg. For parcels above 20 kg, the rate drops to Rs. 45 per kg for most regions. For shipments to the Northeast, hilly areas, and other special zones — including parts of Kerala and certain regions of Tamil Nadu — the applicable rate is Rs. 80 per kg regardless of parcel weight. Orders exceeding 100 kg attract an additional discount of Rs. 10 per kg across the board.
VRL Logistics and similar bus parcel services are also available under this category for clients in cities with good intercity bus connectivity. This is often the most economical surface option and works well where the recipient has access to a local VRL branch or can arrange pickup from a bus terminal. Availability and delivery timelines vary by route and should be confirmed with our team before selecting this option.
For time-sensitive shipments such as samples, prototypes, or urgent partial orders, we offer air courier at Rs. 100 per kg with a minimum chargeable weight of 1 kg. Delivery is typically completed within two to three business days anywhere in India. Remote locations with limited airport proximity may carry a marginal additional charge. This option is best used when speed matters more than cost.
For large orders of 50 kg or more where the destination is a partner warehouse or a third-party logistics hub, we arrange delivery through 3PL providers at rates that are typically lower than standard surface rates. Delivery times for this mode are between ten and sixteen business days. Our own trucks can also handle last-mile delivery to warehouse facilities in the vicinity of our Howrah base. For all warehouse and 3PL deliveries, truck and transport charges apply and will be communicated before dispatch.
You are always welcome to collect your order directly from our factory or office in Howrah at no delivery cost. We do not require you to use our logistics network. If you have a preferred courier partner, a vendor-managed transport arrangement, or simply want to send your own vehicle, you can coordinate a pickup with our dispatch team. We will have your order packed, weighed, and documented before handover. There is no handling fee or mandatory delivery charge for self-arranged pickups.
If you need us to deliver to a specific warehouse, distribution centre, or retail point using your nominated carrier, we can facilitate that as well. Transport and truck charges will apply in all such cases and will be quoted before dispatch.
We ship to international destinations and have active relationships with global logistics providers to handle both small consignments and large bulk freight.
For express international deliveries — including samples, small orders, and time-sensitive shipments — we work with DHL. DHL provides door-to-door service, end-to-end tracking, and reliable customs handling across most countries. For larger bulk shipments, we work with freight forwarders and handle air cargo and sea container bookings as required. Sea freight is the most economical route for high-volume seasonal orders. Air cargo offers a faster turnaround for mid-sized international consignments where sea timelines are not viable.
International shipping rates vary based on destination country, shipment weight and volume, declared value, and the mode of transport. We do not publish fixed international rates because no two shipments are identical. Once your order is ready for dispatch, share the destination details and preferred mode with our sales team and we will provide a specific quote. Export documentation, commercial invoices, and packing lists are prepared as standard for all international shipments.
All rates listed on this page are sourced directly from our carrier and logistics partners and passed on to you without markup. We do not operate our own nationwide or international delivery network — every shipment is fulfilled through third-party courier, surface, air, or freight providers. This means our rates are entirely dependent on what those carriers charge us at the point of dispatch.
The figures mentioned here reflect rates as of our last reading and are accurate to the best of our knowledge at the time of publishing. However, delivery rates are subject to change due to factors outside our control — fuel surcharges, carrier policy revisions, geopolitical situations, or sudden market-wide cost escalations. In the event of any such change, the applicable rate will always be the one confirmed by our sales team at the time your order is ready to ship, not the indicative figures listed here.
